He completed 711 passes during his career, which is still a Tulare County record. Metcalf threw for more than 400 yards or more six times and eclipsed 300 yards passing or more 19 times. In the Aztecs' run to the Valley plaque, he tossed a then-single-season, section-record 54 touchdowns to cap off a nine-win season. Metcalf is also one of the most efficient passers in Tulare County history, throwing just 33 interceptions in 1,236 attempts. During his career, he averaged nearly 300 yards per game and threw for more than 3,000 yards in a single season twice. A four-year starter (2011-14), Metcalf threw 140 touchdowns in 40 career games while helping lead Farmersville to four East Sierra League championships and a Central Section Division VI crown in 2013. No quarterback in Central Section history has thrown for more yards and touchdowns than Metcalf. ![]()
